ADVANCED ORTHODONTIC CARE

We are proud to announce that, Dent Inn Â- The Smile studio is the first exclusive orthodontic centre in the city. With an

resident orthodontist (Dr. Prashant Math) available round the clock say goodbye to crooked teeth and unpleasent smile.

What is orthodontic treatment and why is it necessary ?

Orthodontics is the specialty which deals with prevention

and correction of all dental and dento facial discrepancies

including teeth and jaws protruding out, teeth out of

alignment (crooked), interdental spaces, and

disproportionate jaws, in the young or in grownups, for

results with pleasing esthetics and proper function and

health.

Teeth that are not aligned properly create malocclusion.

If left untreated it can lead to accumulation of plaque and

tartar which can cause gum disease and bone loss,

eventually resulting in teeth loss over a period of time.

Crooked teeth can create abnormal stress on teeth and jaws and may lead to premature wear and even chipping or fracture of teeth and temperomandibular joint disorders.

Benefits of orthodontic treatment :
Orthodontics plays an important role in improving overall oral health and achieving balance and harmony

between the face and teeth for a beautiful, healthy smile, which may enhance one’s self esteem.

Properly aligned teeth are easier to brush and so the tendency to decay may be decreased as may be the likelihood of developing disease of the gums and supporting bone. Also, well aligned teeth are less likely to experience wearing down of teeth.

Treatment duration :
The amount of time depends on your age, the seriousness of your problem and the treatment technique used. Treatment generally involves a visit to your orthodontist on a regular basis over a period of months to years.

In general, it takes 1-2 years.
